LeadHer Diamond Program
In collaboration with the Scarborough Baseball Association (SBA), the LeadHer Diamond program—an initiative focused on creating more meaningful opportunities for girls in baseball has been launched. It’s designed to support development, confidence, and connection, while keeping girls engaged in the sport.
And Scarborough has it's first all-girls baseball team.
A group of high school–aged players who have been grinding it out on co-ed teams for years, and were looking for the chance to play, grow, and compete alongside other girls who share that same passion for the game.
As we get things underway, we’d love to connect with other leagues who have girls playing—whether on co-ed or girls teams—with the goal of:
- Building relationships across programs
- Sharing ideas and supporting continued growth in girls baseball
- Exploring opportunities for exhibition games or friendly matchups

Canadian Girl's Baseball Junior Coach Program
⇒ Earn volunteer hours and become a role model.
⇒ Coaches must be between 11-16 years old
⇒ Program includes volunteer hours, staff coach mentorship and learning leadership skills.

OWBL - Ontario Women's Baseball League
Ontario Women's Baseball League is the longest continuous all-female baseball league in Canada. AND they are looking to expand in 2022!
Information regarding their 2025 program should be posted soon!
Open to Women, Trans-Women or other non-male identifying people who want to be active and meet new people.
